Ezekiel 47:1-12 CEV
The man took me back to the temple, where I saw a stream flowing from under the entrance. It began in the south part of the temple, where it ran past the altar and continued east through the courtyard. We walked out of the temple area through the north gate and went around to the east gate. I saw the small stream of water flowing east from the south side of the gate. The man walked east, then took out his measuring stick and measured 500 meters downstream. He told me to wade through the stream there, and the water came up to my ankles. Then he measured another 500 meters downstream, and told me to wade through it there. The water came up to my knees. Another 500 meters downstream the water came up to my waist. Another 500 meters downstream, the stream had become a river that could be crossed only by swimming. The man said, “Ezekiel, son of man, pay attention to what you've seen.” We walked to the riverbank, where I saw dozens of trees on each side. The man said: This water flows eastward to the Jordan River valley and empties into the Dead Sea, where it turns the salt water into fresh water. Wherever this water flows, there will be all kinds of animals and fish, because it will bring life and fresh water to the Dead Sea. From En-Gedi to Eneglaim, people will fish in the sea and dry their nets along the coast. There will be as many kinds of fish in the Dead Sea as there are in the Mediterranean Sea. But the marshes along the shore will remain salty, so that people can use the salt from them. Fruit trees will grow all along this river and produce fresh fruit every month. The leaves will never dry out, because they will always have water from the stream that flows from the temple, and they will be used for healing people.

Happy Sixth Day of Thank Everyone!
Today, I give thanks for Lilah’s Mysteries. My thanks for today probably sounds quite strange at first glance, but I will explain. For many of you who have been on this six-year journey with us, you know all about my daughter, Delilah Christina. For those of you who have just started the journey, you should know that Delilah (aka Lilah aka Ms. Diva) is autistic and minimally verbal for now. She is an artist and uses the drawings she saves to prophetically communicate an idea or a message from God. The reason I say “the drawings she saves” is because Delilah will draw and create a beautiful masterpiece and seconds later throw it in the garbage. Although it may be a beautiful masterpiece in the eye of the beholder, somehow, it has an imperfection to Delilah that doesn’t make it worthy of saving. Drawing is also therapeutic for her so once the moment has past, the drawing’s endurance has past as well.
About two years ago, Delilah and I began a special part of her journey towards her healing and deliverance. She would draw a specific picture and I would have to gather clues to figure out the message being conveyed by the picture. We have had several lock/key/gate pictures that told of new territories, spiritual warfare, specific demons that we had to encounter and take down in the new territory. We had pictures of pools to convey her desire to be baptized. We had drawings that depicted the outer court, the inner court, and the Holy of Holies within the temple of Solomon (and the original arc of the covenant).
Just last month, Delilah drew a picture, which is shown at the top of this reflection. When she drew it, she said “Mommy, water.” The image didn’t look anything like water to me so I asked her what was the image of and of course we got no where because she is minimally verbal and couldn’t verbally explain the image. Since this was a drawing Lilah saved and she had signaled my attention to look at it, I knew it was another prophetic “mystery” message that I needed to go on a journey to research and figure out. I immediately began to ask God to give me the wisdom on where to start discovering the clues about the message or to bring the divine helpers who would help me figure out what the message meant. I sent the image to one of my prayer partners and asked her to pray with me for revelation. She wrote back a day or so later and said, “this reminds me of a water pumping windmill.” Let me just say, I would have never guessed that in a million years. My prayer partner and I begin to move on the lead and look up pictures of windmills that I started to show to Lilah. My friend sent an image of a water windmill that looked very similar to Lilah’s picture. It had the spokes in it. It had an outer layer of red paint on each spoke. I was in awe. Several days later, another of my friends said that if I turned the drawing sideways it looked like a waterway. She said the brown was a pond and the water was being distributed from it. She proclaimed, “maybe it’s a well!”
We began to research about windmills since we had found that picture so close to Lilah’s drawing. Guess what? There are such things as water windmills which are also called water pumping windmills. We discovered that these types of windmills use wind to pump water from a well or other water sources in areas with little to no electricity to provide means of lifting water for irrigation, livestock, and other purposes. We discovered that some windmill turbines are painted red for esthetic purposes, to increase visibility, and most often each stripe of red indicates a 5 km unit distance from a local air strip. The red was usually an oxidizing paint that was used for rust prevention and to protect from the wind and rain. So here were my clues for figuring out this “mystery” and trying to understand the prophetic message being conveyed through the drawing.
1. There was water and wind generating energy for sustenance.
2. The color red was a preserver and could represent blood. We know that life is in the blood of any living thing so the red could also signify preservation of life.
3. Each red stripe means a measurement/unit/distance/ proximity of 5. The number 5 biblically represents the number of grace. The red paint was an oxidant that gave grace against weather and preserved from rust and deterioration.
The next morning the Lord had me read Ezekiel chapter 37, which is the message about the dry bones that Ezekiel had to prophesy to so that they could resurrect and become a great army. I knew that in reading this message, God was speaking that His “ruach,” breath, was going to resurrect the dead things and bring them back to life. I continued to pray for more revelation. The next morning, the Lord sent me a message through a friend to read Ezekiel 47: 6-9. I actually read the whole chapter but as I was reading verses 1-12 begin to stand out of the page so that it would catch my attention. The Lord began to take me back to a message He gave to me and Lilah a year prior from the book of Second Kings chapter 2. The Lord told me and Delilah that, just as Elijah and Elisha had to unlock the three portals (at Bethel, at Jericho, and at the Jordan River) to unleash the manifested power and glory of God, we would see Delilah’s complete healing once all three portals were unlocked. Earlier this year, the Lord had sent a prophetic message that we were at the third portal (The Jordan River). The scriptures in Ezekiel 47 were interesting because they kept mentioning “gates,” which have also been part of my and Lilah’s healing and deliverance journey as well.
The next morning, I was listening to a sermon and the Apostle mentioned something about God cutting the gates of iron so that the gates to a city can be opened. He then mentioned the verses in Psalms chapter 24 where it states “Lift up your heads, you gates be lifted up, you ancient doors that the King of Glory may come in. Who is this King of Glory? The Lord strong and mighty. The Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of Glory may come. Who is this King of Glory? The Lord Almighty-he is the King of glory.”
I had an epiphany moment. For the “water” to flow, the ancient gates have to be opened/lifted up. And the only one who can lift the ancient gates is the Lord, who is strong and mighty in battle, or the one who He gives the master key (the key of David). Last year, God told Lilah that according to Matthew 16:19, that He had given Lilah complete access and the keys to the kingdom. Whatever she said “No” to on earth, He would say “no” to in heaven and whatever she said “yes” to on earth, He would say “yes” in heaven.
The prophetic message: As Lilah is being enabled by grace, with her keys to the kingdom, she is opening the doors and gates in this third portal of The Jordan River. As each door and gate opens, the water (Jesus is the Living Water) is being allowed to flow through her temple from ankle deep to knee deep, to waist deep until it will get to an overflowing deep. That fresh water is going to flow in the dead areas of Lilah’s life (just like it did in the Dead Sea in Ezekiel 47) and resurrect them to life. All the dead things—her speech, her health, her body, her mind—will resurrect to life and she will be completely healed. Here was another confirmation that she will be healed and that we are closer than ever before to the complete healing that God has promised Delilah.
Are Lilah’s mysteries always this elaborate and detailed? Yes. However, the Lord always gives us deeper understanding, wisdom and revelation concerning where we are on her healing/deliverance journey. Being Lilah’s mom has taught me so many things about communication and how it happens in so many ways through so many media. Lilah has always communicated messages through her pictures, even before she went aphasic. For all you parents and caregivers who use different means to communicate with your love ones, know that it is not any less significant. Communication is happening. Be open to hear and receive so that you can always understand them.
Today as I give thanks for Lilah’s mysteries, I ask that you donate to the organization C.H.A.T (Communication Health, Advocacy, & Therapy), https://chatwithus.org/donate/, whose mission is to increase access to speech-language therapy for children with few to no options to empower them so that their voices can be heard. Please help children access the power of their voices and unlock their ability to effectively communicate.
Love Ya,
Have a Great Day of Thanks!
